R30 000 for underprivileged golfers on Mandela Day

Killarney country club and Alcatel One Touch takes the initiative to support this year’s Nelson Mandela International Day on 18 July by raising funds for underprivileged golfers in Johannesburg. Alcatel One Touch has sponsored two tablets and a smart phones that will be used for the development of underprivileged golfers.

Kevin Rakow, Warrick Druin, Mark Williams and former Bafana Bafana coach Gavin Hunt formed a 4-ball team playing 67 holes. The golfers started playing at 5:53am today.

R30 000 has been pledged and will go to the development of underprivileged golfers.
