Two men arrested for attacking Kew couple
Police arrested two men following an attack on a woman and her husband at their home in Kew.
According to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, the woman (39) was in Alexandra when she was informed that her husband had been assaulted by two men.
“As the woman was on her way to her house, a man approached her and informed her that they wanted to beat her husband up,” he said.
Maphakela said that the complainant proceeded to the house where she found her furniture had been damaged.
As the woman was cleaning up, the man who had previously threatened her husband returned and hit her over the head with a brick.
The injured woman was taken to the local clinic.
