The school entered its play in two festivals, the Edenvale Amateur Dramatic Society Schools Festival and the Festival of Excellence in Dramatic Arts which is by invitation only.
Given her recent successes at the National Eisteddfod Young Performers Awards, Greenside pupil Khanyisile Mkhezi featured as a repeat nominee and award winner.
Mkhize won bronze in the 11th annual National Eisteddfod Academy Young Performer Awards and finished third overall after her solo vocal performance. She was also crowned the overall winner in the senior contemporary music category.
