International best-selling author to visit Joburg

JOBURG - Susan Lewis, author of international best-sellers No Turning Back, A French Affair, and The Hornbeam Tree will visit Joburg this month.

Publishers Random House announced that fans of the women’s fiction heavyweight will have the opportunity to meet her at events in Melville and Northcliff.

Lewis will visit South Africa to promote her latest novel, Never Say Goodbye.

The book tells the story of loving wife and mother, Josie Clarke, as she battles breast cancer.

“It is a compelling and deeply moving novel of friendship, family, and the power of love,” said publisher spokesperson Kim Peters.

Lewis’ visit will kick off at the South African Book Fair, to be held in Cape Town from 13 until 15 June.

Fans in Johannesburg will be able to find out more about the author on 17 June, when she will appear in conversation with popular radio host Sam Cowen at Love Books, Bamboo Lifestyle Centre, 53 Rustenberg Road, Melville, at 6pm.

On 18 June, fans can enjoy an intimate breakfast with Lewis at Morrell’s Boutique Estate, corner of Weltevreden Road and Scott Street, Northcliff, at 9.30am.
