Residents not too bothered by music festival

Residents living in Greenside appear to have been happy with the manner in which the DStv Delicious Food and Music Festival, held at Emmarentia Dam on 31 May, was planned and executed.

Passionate and creative cook Rachel Khoo will demonstrate her culinary excellence.

Some residents were not even aware of the festival, as the loud music was not too much of a bother for them.

However, traffic congestion – although expected – did cause frustration for residents living near the dam.

I Love Greenside Facebook user, Thomas Strydom said although he doesn’t usually mind loud music, he had to study on the day for an exam, therefore he and his brother decided to go elsewhere to study.

The only problem was that traffic was so congested it took them a while before they could be on their way.
