Missing Norwood man found

Norwood police are investigating the whereabouts of a 25-year-old man who was reported missing by his mother.

North Eastern Tribune can confirm that Jake Mckenna has been found and is alive.

This after his brother,  Troy, posted the news on his Facebook page.

The 25-year-old was reported missing by his mother at the Norwood Police Station on 29 May.

According to Troy, his brother was fine although did not feel like speaking with anyone yet. “Thank you to everyone for all your help. Your messages of support were greatly appreciated,” read the post.

According to The Pink Ladies, an independent group of volunteers that works with any individual or organisation in reuniting missing children and loved ones with their families, Jake Kane McKenna was last seen on 29 May by his mother who lives in Edenvale.

In a statement the organisation said, “He was wearing a formal grey shirt, black trousers, a black hoodie with gold trimmings and black shoes.”

A missing person’s case has been opened by the police and investigations are underway.
