Food brand unveils new pasta sauce range

Food brand Peppadew® revealed their new and convenient pasta sauce range to patrons.

Easy to go recipes were all the hype in Sandy’s kitchen when they launched their fresh Peppadew® series of pasta sauces. Peppadew® is a food brand that was established over a decade ago and one that quickly established itself as a niche premium brand.

They are renowned for their piquante pepper, pickled onion and jalapeno range, and were excited to introduce their pasta sauces that use similar ingredients to the original products, such as piquanté pepper and garlic, and green pepper and garlic sauce.

Creating scrumptious dishes like chicken gnocchi and tagliatelli with pancetta, the brand introduced foodie enthusiasts to their new pasta sauce range.

The brand collaborated with resident chef, Sandy Wood to unveil the new product.

The launch took place at Sandy’s Kitchen in Craighall Park on 21 May and was a way for the brand to get people to taste and experience the new range on offer.

According to Laurian Ovens, brand manager at Peppadew®, the company was always trying find suitable categories where the brand could fit in and expand.

“Ours is a niche premium brand, but we’re always trying to take it to the next point, hence we decided to launch the pasta sauce,” she explained.

She added that the company was always trying to do things differently and tap into various target markets, introducing customers to new products and tastes.

Wood demonstrated the convenience of using the pasta sauces and showed how quick the preparation process was to create a meal.

The sauces are additive- and preservative free and can be heated up on the stove or baked over pasta in the oven.

Sandy’s Kitchen was established in 2013 by owner Sandy Wood and not only specialises in hosting events but also offers catering services. Wood also runs cooking classes from her eatery.
