JRA’s mobile app to be launched

A mobile application aimed at changing the way Joburg residents report problems in the city will be launched on 14 May.

The Find & Fix mobile app will assist citizens to report potholes, faulty traffic lights and any other infrastructure issues related to the Johannesburg Roads Agency.

The official launch follows a test phase, during which the beta test app was available for download by the public.

During a press briefing in April to announce the open beta test of the app, the roads agency said once launched, the app would be free and could be downloaded for most mobile operating systems such as Windows Mobile, Andriod and iOS for Apple. The road agency hoped the app would enhance its accessibility to the public and contribute to improving its service delivery and efficiency.

Do you think the app will work effectively and put an end to the road issues in Joburg?
