GRA encourages community involvement

A new Greenside Residents Association (GRA) committee was elected by the residents of Greenside, at the Association’s Annual General Meeting.

After the first committee meeting took place, each member was allocated to a portfolio.

The new members of the committee and their portfolios, are:

  •  Carol Millard (Chairperson and Security)
  •  Judith Ancer (Deputy Chairperson and Communications)
  •  Anthony Jossel (Treasurer)
  •  Jane Eagle (Urban Management)
  •  Bridget Steer (Development Planing)
  •  Hadey Motani (Street Captains/What’sApp/Membership)
  •  Beth Hackland (Membership Accounts)

Chairperson, Millard said, “I thank the team of passionate committee members for their vote of confidence to represent them as committed volunteers who want to keep Greenside maintained both for value of properties and quality of life in a well-kept suburb.”

“The committee requires ‘Greensider’ participation to implement better communications and unity in the suburb.”

The Greenside Residents Association have outlined some of their plans which include:

  •  building community groups on WhatsApp
  •  recruiting volunteers who would like to be part of the committee’s sub committees.

“I and my committee are dedicated to being of service to the community, for whom we wish to do our very best for,” said Millard.

The association invites all residents and business owners to contact them if interested in getting involved in the plans.

Millard also encouraged residents to pay their membership fees for the 2014 year.
