Police hunt for business robbers

PARKTOWN NORTH – Parkview police are investigating a case of business robbery where a laptop was stolen from a business on 7th Avenue in Parktown North.

According to Parkview police spokesperson Princess Mudau, an employee had knocked off with everything in order on a Friday and handed over the keys to the business owner.

“When the business owner entered his office [on Monday], he was surprised when he saw his laptop was not where he left it,” she said. “When he opened the blinds in his showroom he noticed that the burglarproofing of the window had been forced open.”

A note was found on the main door left by a security company that they had responded to an alarm on Sunday at about 3.15am.

No arrests have been made.
