Numsa march to Rosebank

Thousands are marching from Zoo Lake to Rose Bank today in the Numsa march.

Numsa’s march began earlier today at Zoo Lake.

The marchers are making their way to Rosebank through Jan Smuts Road.

The march for jobs was expected to proceed to the National Economic Development and Labour Council (Nedlac) premises in Rosebank where they would hand over a memorandum of understanding to Nedlac officials

According to our Rosebank Killarney journalist who is at the scene, the workers who gathered at  Zoo Lake, were singing songs, calling Jacob Zuma and Sdumo Dlamini liars.

Many of the marchers had red t-shirts on and Some  EFF members are there to support the strike. Many of the Numsa members are wearing EFF berets.
