The event was a musical walk commemorating Easter and Pentecost and was held at St Francis Anglican Church in Parkview on 2 March. Also included in the programme was a short narration of bible scripture between each hymn.
Ruth Coggin, the choir director, said that the session was a good time to remind congregants of all the seasons of the church in preparation for the Lenten season.
“We are presenting this programme just before the start of Lent as a time of reflection for the church,” she added.
Those in attendance got the opportunity to join in on some of the hymns presented by the choir.
