Rosebank gallery relocates

ROSEBANK - In April Lizamore & Associates will be relocating to a new gallery.

After its successful re-brand last year, the gallery’s growth over the past few years a much bigger space is needed.

The new space at 155 Jan Smuts is in walking distance from the present gallery and has parking on the premises.

“We are privileged to still form part of the well-known art strip in Rosebank” said the gallery’s director and curator, Teresa Lizamore.

Lizamore & Associates are exploring transformative possibilities through contemporary art.

“The gallery’s growth and our journey over the last couple of years have been amazing and enjoyable. We are indebted to our clients, colleagues and our artists for their support, past and present. We look forward with enthusiasm to the next step of our journey,” she added.

In the new gallery, Lizamore & Associates will be hosting a number of exhibitions with their family of artists, new artists and will be presenting new projects.

Various group exhibitions, two-man, three-man, four-man and solo exhibitions were in the pipeline for this year.

“Visitors can expect to see works by Kilmany-Jo Liversage, Stephan Erasmus, Samson Mnisi, Richard Smith, Benon Lutaaya, Mandy Coppes-Martin, Louis Olivier, Ruhan Janse van Rensburg, Lehlogonolo Mashaba and many more,” she enthused.

Lizamore & Associates will launch their new gallery on 3 April with a group exhibition, Marking the Map that showcases its family of artists.
