Domestic Watch makes a difference

Domestic Watch organiser Penny Steyn has called on residents to get involved in fighting crime in the community.

She highlighted how the presence of Domestic Watch meetings in the past year had led to a radical reduction in crime.

Steyn said that better relationships could be formed between residents and the police if more residents could generously provide information about criminals and incidents of crime happening in the area.

“We all can make a difference to our country, our family and stop the horrors of crime by doing the right thing,” Steyn added.

“Being generous is not just about digging into our pockets – I believe there is undoubtedly more in it for the giver than those on the receiving end.”
