Refuse removal a nightmare

Refuse removal day in HillBROW is a dreaded one for me.

On Tuesdays, when I go outside to take my rubbish out, in fact, when everyone takes their rubbish out on our block, a homeless man rips every single bag apart and proceeds to throw our rubbish out of the bin, collecting what he needs.

Also, the employees of the waste removal company refuse to fully empty bins in which rubbish is not all sealed in either the white or black rubbish bags, leaving all the discarded rubbish from the vagrant in our bins.

I spend a lot of money on rubbish bags, bin liners and cleaning products because each week we are forced to wash our bins of dirt and grime.

I’ve tried dealing with the various homeless men who go through our rubbish, and I’ve been attacked, chased and been told that I’ll be killed.

When trying to speak to the municipal workers, they either laugh or flat out ignore me, then have the audacity to actually leave our rubbish and not collect it at all.

I even took to sealing my bags with cable ties and double wrapping them, but this does not help as even then, the employees refuse to collect it.
