JOBURG – City Power announced a planned power outage that will affect several suburbs in ‘the Parks’ and surrounds on Monday night.
According to the municipal entity’s website, the planned outage is due to start at 10pm and may last until 6am, Tuesday.
The following suburbs will be affected: Craigpark, Dunkeld, Dunkeld West, Hyde Park, Melrose, Parktown North, Rosebank, and Saxonwold.
The outage will allow City Power to carry out essential maintenance work.
Residents were urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, as power may be restored at any time.
