JOBURG – A power outage has been planned for the night of 28 September, according to ward councillor Tim Truluck.
Truluck said he was told the power outage would last from 10pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.
He said Dunkeld; Dunkeld West ext 1, 3, 4, 7; Hyde Park, Hyde Park ext 12, 120, 124, 19, 36, 38, 46, 63, 65, 80, 81; Killarney; Parktown North; Parkwood; Rosebank; and Saxonwold would be affected.
“City Power need to do breaker maintenance at the sub-station,” said Truluck.
He advised residents to treat their electricity supply points as live, as power may be restored at any moment.
