ROSEBANK - The 1st Rosebank cub pack and scout troop will host an open day in celebration of the troop's centenary year.

The open day will allow people to be a cub or scout for a day, and will include numerous cub and scouting oriented activities.

Children and teenagers will be able to build towers, shoot with a bow and arrow, make goodies and gadgets, and much more.

Pack scouter Madine Tyson said, “There will be a display area showcasing 1st Rosebank’s history and cub and scout activities. Come grab some lunch, meet our cubs and scouts, and learn more about the scout troop in your community.”

The open day will take place on 7 September at the Scout Hall, corner of Bolton and Blanford Roads, Parkwood, from 10am until 3pm.
