Rebate forms at libraries in Ward 73

JOBURG - Councillor Marcelle Ravid placed rebate forms in different libraries for elderly.

Since the City of Johannesburg adjusted its criteria for pensioner rates rebates, Ward 73 councillor Marcelle Ravid has tried to make the forms easily accessible to applicants.

“I have placed assessment rate rebate forms at the Orange Grove, Norwood and Killarney libraries,” said Ravid.

She said pensioners should take note that there were different forms for over 60s and over 70s.

“Remember, the only condition for 100 percent rebate for over 70s was that your property must not be valued at over R2 million.”
