Children get arty and crafty

GREENSIDE – Artisty art school hosted an arts and crafts workshop for children.

The fun-filled workshop saw the participants create life-sized self-portraits with a variety of materials.

Workshop co-ordinator Margalete Rubinstein said, “The results were inspired and creative. All the children got on well together and showed off their final pieces during lunch.”

Claudia Ochayon, the mother of one of the participants, was delighted with the workshop.

“It’s a constructive, creative and positive thing to do for the children,” she said.

Rubinstein has planned another workshop that will include glass painting and mask making for the up-coming school holidays.
