According to Parkview police spokesperson Princess Mudau, the motorist had been driving behind a white bakkie in the right lane, which he tried to overtake.
He was prevented from doing so when the driver of the bakkie changed lanes and blocked him from passing in the left lane. The motorist then passed on the right, and came to stop at a traffic light.
“At that point, the driver of the bakkie got out, hit the motorist’s window, and pointed a gun at him,” said Mudau.
The motorist drove off when the traffic light changed, but the bakkie driver followed him and pointed the gun at him while driving.
No arrests have been made.
