According to Parkview police spokesperson Princess Mudau, the woman was cleaning the stove when she heard a door bang.
“She saw two men with firearms. One pointed his firearm at her, and he ordered her to show them where the money and jewellery were kept. She told them she didn’t know. They slapped her, pushed her into the bathroom and locked the door,” said Mudau.
The woman later heard a voice asking if anyone was in the house. Two security guards passed by the window, and the woman told them what had happened.
Once freed, she noticed that the robbers had fled with an iPad, Playstation hardware, and a cellphone.
No arrests have been made.
