St John’s Prep boys play their part

The young learners at St John's Prep took on the Mandela Day challenge. Head of marketing and communication at the school, Jacqui Deeks said the boys were challenged by the school to give 67 minutes of their time.

Head of marketing and communication at the school, Jacqui Deeks said the boys were challenged by the school to give 67 minutes of their time. “[The aim was to] help people in our community that now, more than ever, need our help. Boys, you honoured Madiba and made St John’s proud. Well done!”

The boys embarked on a variety of activities on the day. These included packing non-perishable food parcels, making sandwiches to give to those in need, taking pet food to an animal rescue centre and also picking up litter in the environment.
