DSJ matrics achieve 100 per cent pass

PARKTOWN – DSJ achieved 100 per cent pass and 98.5 per cent.


Matrics from the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg (DSJ), located in Parktown, were jubilant when receiving their results on 7 January.

Vanessa Detlefsen and Sarah Nickels stood out head and shoulders above the rest, achieving an outstanding 10 distinctions each.

Anika Eckstein and Benjamin Matthews each received nine distinctions while Mark Dresel, Luca Sackmann and Peter Williams achieved eight distinctions each. Saskia Schöpflin achieved an impressive seven distinctions.

The school achieved 172 distinctions from 70 matrics and a 98.5 per cent bachelor pass.

Public relations manager Savo Ceprnich said, “We are extremely proud of this talented group, besides the amazing individual results, the overall marks were outstanding. What a wonderful way to start our 130th anniversary year.”
