The Rotary Arts Festival doesn’t disappoint

ROSEBANK – Rosebank Mall was the place to be for the official opening of the Rotary Arts Festival.

The much-anticipated opening night of the Rotary Arts Festival (RAF) did not disappoint as art lovers made their way to Rosebank Mall in their numbers.

Attendees had the pleasure of viewing or purchasing over 500 artworks from 100 artists at the official launch of the festival at the Caramello’s store. President of the festival, Jean Bernardo welcomed everyone and said that it was a celebration of the multi-talents of some of SA’s recognised artists with multiple interactive workshops to attend.

“The proceeds this year will be going to three pre-selected charities, SA Guide-Dogs’ College of Orientation and Mobility, a three-day youth leadership course championed by the Rotary Club of Rosebank and the acquisition of a container for use by the Palliative Care Unit at the Baragwanath Hospital,” said Bernardo.
