It is good for the world to see how different, yet united we are. GUGU DHLAMINI: It is a day when people recognise identity. If you lose your heritage, you have lost your worth. I will be dressing up for work on Friday and relaxing on Heritage Day. DHARMACHELE POTGIETER: It is important to broaden the perspective of cultural beliefs so that people can be aware of others around them. I will be braaing and skiing on the river. TYRONE KRIEK: I believe there should be a Heritage Day for each culture in our country when we can get off school to celebrate. I will be braaing to celebrate this year. JOSE SNYDERS: It is important from a South African historical perspective to recognise our past and acknowledge our collective future. I will be running a marathon in Cape Town. GARETH REES: We have an awesome country to celebrate. I am going to have a braai on the day.
