Readers views in Women’s Month

The Rosebank Killarney Gazette spoke to some of the readers on how they realise the value of a woman in society and this is what they had to say ...

MINAH MABITSELA: A woman has to be strong. The 1956 women were fearless and they stood for everything they believed in. They contributed to freeing all of us during apartheid.
DAVID BEGLEY: It is about time that everyone recognises that women do a lot of work and they must be on the forefront and have to be given platforms to have their say.
SIYABONGA JELE: I think it is important to celebrate women because the month represents women and it is the time we should remember all the things they do for us.
KEIYANDE SNYDERS: A woman is important because she always gives a helping hand. Most women do not want to see other people suffer. So we should be celebrated more often.
