Illegal dumpsite in Hyde Park cleared up during A Re Sebetseng

HYDE PARK – An illegal dumping site on William Nicol Drive has been cleared away thanks to the A Re Sebetseng campaign and Avis Fleet team.

The first clean-up of the year for the A Re Sebetseng campaign started off on a high note with the clearing of an illegal dumpsite.

The site, which is located on William Nicol Drive just before the Jan Smuts Avenue intersection, has seen numerous loads of what appears to be building rubble dumped illegally.

While the campaign typically sees residents grabbing rubbish bags and gloves during the clean-up, the dumpsite required more reinforcements in order to be cleared away.
