ELIAS MANANDA: If parents can be punished for abusing their own child then why should a teacher not be charged for abusing someone else’s child.KERI SCHULTZ: I think if they’re horrible people then they need to be fired but if they are being taunted, I think they need a better way of disciplining.ASHEN AJUDHIYA: They should definitely be fired first of all and not be allowed to teach again but I think it depends on how severe it is.RACHEL NEEDHAM-CLARK: Teachers should immediately lose their jobs. I also think their names and photos should be put on a register so schools don’t employ them in the future.NICHOLAS LANCASTER: Teachers that abuse their powers need to be punished as harshly as possible, they are responsible for the education and well-being of our children.
