Old Edwardian Girls’ Football Festival a victory

The Old Edwardian Society Girls' Football tournament is about social cohesion and healthy habits.

Families and friends braved the cold by cheering, clapping, and screaming for their favourite players at the Old Edwardian Society grounds for the girls’ football festival on August 24.

Ama Bhubesi, Benoni Girls Football Club, Pink Panthers, McAuley House, Crosby, and Waverly are some of the teams that attended the festival.

“The Old Edwardian Girls’ Football Festival is in its second year, and we are happy to see a large turnout from different schools. Players who made up the different categories of the tournament are from ages 10 to 20s.”
