Kingsmead College upcycles toys for ECD centres
Kingsmead hosted a toy-making workshop. All of the toys are made from upcycled material.

Practising its service core value as a school, Kingsmead College hosted a toy-making workshop.
All of the toys are made from upcycled material. Once the toys are made, a toy box is created, one for each toy, and the toy boxes are then donated to low-resourced Early childhood development (ECD) centres.

“Service is one of our values that we practice throughout the year. Mandela Day is every day at the school, but it is a wonderful day to get together with our community (junior school children, senior school staff, and parents).”
