Singularity Summit South Africa returns to the Sandton Convention Centre

Guests expected to be at the Singularity Summit include: Jaya Baloo, Emad Mostaque and Cathy Hackl.

Singularity South Africa announced the plans for the upcoming Summit at WeWork Rosebank on May 21, which will return in physical format this year, in collaboration with Old Mutual.

With over 1 500 delegates expected, the popular summit will take place on October 21– 22 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

World-renowned cybersecurity expert Jaya Baloo will return to the stage to share insights on guarding the digital frontier. The genius behind Stable Diffusion, Emad Mostaque, Founder of Stability AI, will address the future of decentralised and democratised AI.

With AI currently supercharging every aspect of business and society, the summit will see the world’s thought leaders on this topic congregate to equip delegates with the foresight needed to harness this phenomenon. AI ethics sociologist Alix Rubsaam will address AI and ethics, exploring the societal impacts of bridging the human and digital realms.
