Just Now Jeffrey successfully premiered at Rosebank Mall

"Just Now Jeffrey" is an edgy coming-of-age comedy set in South Africa in the 80s.

VIP guests, directors, and actors were among the audience in Rosebank Mall on April 25, for the Just Now Jeffery movie screening.

Just Now Jeffery’s director, Brett Morris, explained that the screening was important because artists remained passionate about the cinema experience.

“We believe there is a difference between watching something on the big screen and a cellphone. We made a call to release our movie only in cinemas which was a big deal for us.”

Morris added that the cast believed a cinema screening was the best way to see a movie.

“Making an independent film has been a four-year marathon and is about to be released in cinemas from May 3. The four-year journey will be showcased in the two-hour-long movie.”

Just Now Jeffrey is an all-South African cast and crew and has been selected at three international film festivals in Beverly Hills, Toronto, and Poland. It has also been praised for its world-class production values, cinematography, and art direction.
