Atholl Parkrun runners achieve running milestones
Locals tick their fitness goals at the Atholl Parkrun.

Atholl Parkrun runners celebrated their running milestones at Winston Ridge Park on February 3.
Local enthusiastic runners, joggers, and walkers showed up to break a sweat to start their day.

Jos Nooy, who was celebrating his 50th parkrun, said he did his first run while pushing his child’s pram.

“I started in 2019 although it was slow because of the pram but the goal was to always run. I sometimes attend the Woodlands and Waterfall parkruns,” he said.

Another 50th parkrunner Christina Mdaka said she was excited to reach this milestone.

Mdaka added, “I run all the time, every week and work out. I have tried going to other parkruns but enjoy the Atholl Parkrun.”
