Sasfin Bank partnered with Ort SA on August 6 and hosted the Sasfin Wealth Padel Cup Fundraiser at the Ten By Twenty Padel Club in Killarney.

Ort SA marketing administrator, Thamia Scholtz said participants ranging from seasoned padel athletes to enthusiastic newcomers, took to the tournament with an enthusiasm that transcended mere competition.

“The day resonated with a shared purpose as racquets swung and hearts beat to the rhythm of unity. While vying for the prestigious
R20 000 grand prize, participants were fuelled not only by the prospect of victory but also by the joy of contributing to a meaningful cause.”

Ort SA’s mission found resonance within this endeavour, reflecting its dedication to education, empowerment, and community enrichment.

The crowning moment arrived as Dylan Jacobson and Chris Milton emerged victorious, not only claiming the substantial R20 000 prize but also radiating a sense of fulfilment that illuminated their achievement. The runner-up prize was two Garmin watches valued at R6 000 and the third prize, comprised two padel rackets from Decathlon along with Fila vouchers.
