Local celebrities braved the cold for the iNumber number: Jozi Gold premiere
In the criminal underworld of Johannesburg, a jaded undercover police officer is tasked with cracking the biggest gold heist in African history that could make or break his career.
Local celebrities showed up in their best dress and braved the cold on June 22 for the iNumber Number: Jozi Gold at Johannesburg City Centre.
The first iNumber number movie was aired in 2013 and the lead actors were S’Dumo Mtshali, Presley Chweneyagae. The premise of the movie was about, “Chili and Sello, undercover cops who are cheated out of a large reward by their corrupt superiors. Chili infiltrates a gang as it prepares to rob an armoured car, and instead of busting them, he convinces Sello to participate in the score.”
The sequel which was released on June 23, features the original leads.
The iNumber Number: Jozi Gold is about, “When an undercover cop is tasked with investigating a historic gold heist in Johannesburg, he’s forced to choose between his conscience and the law.”
Popular celebrities in attendance included Mpho Sebeng, Pallance Dladla, Nxolo Dlamini, Rami Chuene.
