St Teresa’s School hosted its first hockey festival on its newly built Astro court

Brescia House U13 team won 2-0 against St Teresa's School in the first hockey festival match.

St Teresa’s School hosted its first hockey festival on its new multi-surface playing Astro court on June 21.

Hockey, tennis, and netball can all be played on the surface.

The school’s admission and marketing manager, Lianda May said, ” We successfully hosted the U14 and U15 Catholic Schools’ netball tournament on this field in May which saw 32 teams from 18 schools participate.”

May added that the hockey festival hosted on June 21 was a triangular U13 Series, with Brescia House, Roedean School and St Teresa’s School participating.

The festival would have attracted more schools, however, most schools are currently in the middle of their exams.

The first hockey match saw the hosts, St Teresa’s School U13 team play against Brescia House School who came out victorious with a score of 2-0.
