Community members meet their police in Melrose Arch
A chance to converse with police officers while having a coffee and a biscuit was well-received by community members in Melrose Arch.
Community members in Melrose Arch and other suburbs had the chance to get to know their police officers at Coffee with a Cop.
The event was held at an open space in Melrose Arch on September 30 where passers-by could just stop by and have a chat, grab a pamphlet, and a coffee.
Norwood Police Spokesperson Sergeant Eric Masotsha said they wanted to show community members that they shouldn’t be afraid of the police but rather be able to approach them for any of their service-related enquiries.
