Fun-filled night with the Sandton SPCA
Titled Music of the Movies, this year’s Sandton SPCA benefit concert is sure to attract movie lovers.
Everyone is invited as the Johannesburg Opera NPC, the Sandton SPCA and the Villa Simonne Boutique Hotel host this year’s Sandton SPCA benefit concert.
This year’s concert will take place at the Villa Simonne Boutique Hotel in Houghton Estate on September 11.
Titled Music of the Music, the programme, curated by the Johannesburg Opera, celebrated the wonderful music that was written for film.
This includes such as Gabriella’s Song from As it is in Heaven, Remember from Troy and Let the river run from Working Girl, and of course, some of the golden oldies, such as Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany’s and New York, New York from New York, New York.
There will also be a performance by the talented Khayakazi Madlala (soprano) and Phenye Modiane (tenor), accompanied by Andrew Duncan on piano.
