LINDO KUNENE: I think it’s important to remind ourselves as Africans that we’re all refugees on this continent. There’s no better way than good music to include everyone and talk about important issues.
SIZAKELE SHONGWE: We understand that messages are spread through music, acting and the arts at large and this concert is no different. This can be used to promote social cohesion and nation-building.

PJ POWERS: I think to be displaced as a human being must be a terrifying thing because you don’t have a home. I want to be part of that message tonight through the concert, these people are human beings and we need to care.
ROCKSTEADY DUB: As a Mozambiquan, it’s always a pleasure to be involved in such initiatives to highlight important discussions and educate other people on the plight of refugees and others in the country.
