Mandela Sanctuary hosts Miss SA for ambassadorship ceremony

Miss SA hopes to play her part and inspire people with her Brand SA ambassadorship.

Brand SA: Play Your Part appoints newly crowned Miss SA Ndavi Nokeri and top 10 finalist as ambassadors.

Acting Brand SA’ ceo Sithembile Ntombela said adding more woman ambassadors was fitting, especially during Women’s month.

“Brand SA’s vision is to create a national brand which focuses on SA as a whole, aimed to inspire its people and be admired globally. We usually work in communities and nationally, and what better way to continue our work throughout the country than collaborate with the two young women who joined the organisation today.”

Ntombela added Brand SA was aligned with the Miss SA organisation’s ethos.

“Being part of Brand SA is an incredible honour, the work they do for our country is impeccable and to be a part of such means a lot. I’m looking forward to working with them and to inspire new ways of doing things and change the narrative for our country.”

Miss SA Top 10 Finalist, Pearl Ntsheni said her ambassadorship with Brand SA couldn’t have come at a better time.

“I am truly honoured, I have always wanted to be a brand ambassador so to see that dream come true is humbling. This means a lot to girls who partook in the pageant, besides the crown there’s so many things we do that empower us.”

Ntsheni added, “The reason I entered Miss SA was to show the child from Mamelodi that if my voice belongs in reimaging SA, so does yours. If I’m playing my part with the little I have, so can you.”
