Warmth is given to nurses

Secret Scarves mission, but 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, acknowledged Park Care nurses' work by giving them scarves.

Having been around for eight years, 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day continues to do incredible work all over the country.

The focus of this year’s 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, Secret Scarves mission was to pay homage to and say thank you to frontline health workers.

Lynton Lefever, brand ambassador for 67 blankets, said he knows it is never easy to be a frontline health worker, “This year we got help from Parktown High School for Girls and we have over 400 scarves. Today is a small way for us at 67 Blankets to say thank you [to health workers] for everything you do and the hours you spend with the patients that you have.”
