Foundation makes winter a little warmer

Dis-Chem Foundation donated warm jackets to the residents of the Sisters of Mercy Immaculata Hall Homeless Shelter, in Rosebank.

Dis-Chem Foundation donated fleece jackets to the residents of the Sisters of Mercy Immaculata Hall Homeless Shelter, night shelter, and day care in Rosebank.

The foundation is committed to making winter a little warmer every year for vulnerable members of society through its various campaigns to assist homeless people.

“It was good to see the receivers looking so comfortable and warm in their fleece jackets. With our blanket campaign handovers taking place in partnership with various non-governmental organisations, we hope to get more and more people warmer during the colder season,” said Jacqueline Kahlberg from the Dis-Chem Foundation. The donation was made on May 11.
