As part of these activities, primary school children chose a workshop to take part in which included painting, crafting and even yoga to symbolise their strength together and with each other.

Marketing executive at the school Annette Holtmann said during the past two years, the lives of many have been greatly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“In particular, children and young people had to suffer under pandemic-related circumstances,” said Holtmann.

It was therefore decided to introduce these special days at school to foster greater unity among learners.

As part of these activities, primary school children chose a workshop to take part in which included painting, crafting and even yoga to symbolise their strength together and with each other.

Secondary school learners took part in performances and workshops focusing on various topics which were adapted to the needs of individual grades including bullying, identity and self-confidence, social media and the power of influencers and stress management strategies.
