WAV: Inscriptions of abstractions exhibition happening March 23 to April 15
Aspire Art and Studio Nxumalo are set to host a special artistic event you don’t want to miss. What is this event all about?
Studio Nxumalo in association with Aspire Art are proud to present WAV – an exhibition of abstract inscriptions and compositions, harmonised by artists Pebofatso Mokoena and Frederick Clarke. Mokoena and Clarke are inviting you on an intimate and spectral journey that explores their artistic influences, combining elements of synaesthesia, mathematics, mark-making and nature to name a few.
The event which is being hosted at Aspire Art (32 Bolton Road, Parkwood, Johannesburg, 2193) will kick off with the exhibition opening on Wednesday, March 23, followed by an artists’ walkabout on Saturday, March 26, and a panel discussion moderated by artist Thenjiwe Nkosi on Saturday, April 02.
