The Parks Netball team is back in the groove

In a match played at Cosmo City Multipurpose Centre on January 29, the Parks Netball team secured a win against the host team.

Co-founder of the Parks team Grace Matoni said, “The original arrangement was that we would play against one team but when we got there, there were two teams – Scorpions (red kit) and Manchester (blue kit).”
She added that they won 35–32 against Manchester and lost 23–29 to Scorpions.

“I am so grateful because we were playing with young team members and I am so proud of the women because after two years of not being active on the courts, we managed to achieve. Our team has also grown a lot this year. I look forward to more games.”
