Two suspects arrested following house robbery in Westcliff

WESTCLIFF – The police recovered the victim's vehicle and various items taken during the house robbery.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Parkview, with the help of a security company, arrested two suspects in Westcliff on January 3 following a house robbery incident.

Gauteng SAPS communication officer Captain Amanda van Wyk said in a statement that an initial report suggests that security guards responded to the panic activation from a victim in Westcliff. “Upon arrival, the security guards noticed the suspects pulling out of the victim’s premises. The suspects got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but the duo was apprehended thereafter by members of the SAPS Parkview and the security guards.”
