Hope to Heal Foundation expresses gratitude and looks forward to the new year

RIVONIA – CEO and founder of the Hope to Heal Foundation, Seema Naidoo, stated that her main highlight of the year [2021] was the opening of the foundation's first wellness centre

The Hope to Heal Foundation in Rivonia has always been at the forefront of ensuring that survivors of human trafficking get the professional help they need in order to recover from their trauma.

The foundation has thanked various donors and organisations, and hopes to spread awareness at a larger scale in their 2022 Global Action Freedom Summit.

CEO and founder of the foundation, Seema Naidoo, said her main highlight of the year (2021) was the opening of the foundation’s first wellness centre. The centre offers survivors professional rehabilitation resources, services and programmes to fully equip them with the help that they need.

The non-profit organisation looks forward to their 2022 Global Action Freedom Summit which will be tackling issues on human trafficking and addressing solutions to reduce human trafficking in South Africa.

The foundation’s wish list is:

  • Support from corporates and people in the private sectors to sustain the various projects
  • Minibus – for the use of roadshows to gather support for the 2022 summit

“We would like to express our gratitude and heartfelt thank you to our funders of the wellness centre and to all our donors, staff and volunteers who put in long hours to ensure services are provided, and the media for their continued support. We are all born free, but there are thousands of people under forced lockdown, held against their will and exploited for profit,” concluded Naidoo.
