New children’s production to take centre stage at Parktown theatre
PARKTOWN – The National Children's Theatre will soon launch its new production, A Year With Frog and Toad.
The National Children’s Theatre will stage A Year with Frog and Toad at its Outdoor Imagination Theatre, 3 Junction Avenue, Parktown, from November 7 to December 23.
This is a fun, energetic, and enchanting musical for the whole family (suitable for children ages four and up). The narrative weaves together the well-known and well-loved short stories from Arnold Lobel’s Frog and Toad books, and puts the spotlight on how real friends encourage and take care of each other.
“There is much educational value in the show,” said Moira Katz, CEO of National Children’s Theatre. “Children will learn about the seasons, the behaviour of frogs and toads, metamorphosis, and most importantly, the beauty of friendship, at a level they can understand.”
