Ward candidates for the 2021 South African municipal elections
We asked the ward candidates for the 2021 South African municipal elections how they will better or continue to better the community if they win the elections. This is what they had to say:
JAMES BADENHORST, ACTION SA: As ward councillor, I will ensure that I am always responsive and customer-centric in serving my beautiful community. I want to improve service delivery, increase investment in basic infrastructure and make my ward more business friendly. It will be my mission to ensure that we improve our community.TSHIFHIWA MUDAU, ANC: I will ensure that I report water cutting to the community in time, work with different structures of the community and make sure Joburg Water gets the report about leakages and bust pipes. I will also make sure that every opportunity that comes around in our ward empowers more than 50% of women.ANDREW STEWART, DA: I will interact with the community as much as possible in order to gain an understanding of the consensus views on all issues that impact my residents. This way, I am far better equipped to represent and fight for the interests of my community.
